Red Quinoa is usually considered to be a whole grain (like regular white rice, brown rice and other grains such as wheat and barley) and can also be prepared like whole grains such as rice or barley.
The Taste and Texture of Quinoa is a bit like brown rice crossed with oatmeal. It is fluffy, creamy, crunchy and somewhat nutty, all in one bite!
This protein-packed grain contains all amino acids, and is particularly rich in lysine, which promotes healthy tissue growth throughout the body.
